SPANISH FOOTBALL CAMPS
On the side of his freestyle career, Ross also facilitates football camps of a week or longer in Southern Spain for British youth football teams.
Before pursuing freestyle football, Ross studied Spanish at the University of Stirling with the ambition of becoming an interpreter for major football teams in Europe. He spent several years living in Spain which were greatly beneficial in learning the sport of freestyle football and along the way he ran into a great opportunity for youth teams in the UK which he continues to facilitate today. Though unrelated to his freestyle services, Ross takes teams out with him to the city of Granada for training, local matches and daily excursions. Through working with and meeting such a wide range of clubs via his freestyle workshops, Ross has managed to give various youth teams this incredible experience. Ross leads every trip along with your team’s coaches and deals with any translation/language barrier issues. MEET JUANDE AND INTER GRANADA ACADEMY
Juan de Dios Valverde Carillo “aka Juande” is the CEO and founder of Inter Granada Clúb de Fútbol.
Ross met Juande while living in Granada a few years ago, he ran at the time a successful language exchange programme for students to speak various different languages with other students over tapas. Since meeting Ross, he has been heavily involved in football both coaching the sport and running a popular women’s club in Granada. He has worked across the world as a teacher, nurse and businessman and is fluent in 4 languages.
Juande brought his passions and expertise in tourism, football, language learning and creating experiences together when he formed Inter Granada C.F and its academy. Through years of working and building contacts in the various industries, Juande successfully created a unique programme for young football enthusiasts to come to Spain from all parts of the world and train in elite facilities, receive top level coaching, stay in luxurious accommodation and have the opportunity to break into professional football all while having an incredible cultural experience, meeting new people and learning a new language.
As well as short stays for youth teams across the world at Inter’s facilities, the academy also offers the possibility of long term programmes over 3, 5 or 10 months where players receive the ultimate opportunity to push their football in the beautiful region of southern Spain.
A super friendly, interesting and all round nice guy! Both Ross and Juande will work closely with you well in advance of your trip to ensure it is all you could want and more. Ross is Inter Granada’s main ambassador for Scotland and the UK and will act as the middle man for all communication between home and Spain, you’ll be able to contact him whenever with any questions and will speak several times with him and Juande before going.
Though Juande employs highly experienced UEFA Pro level coaches to lead training sessions, he’ll share valuable football insights throughout the camp.

What’s Included?
When you book a football camp experience through Ross and Inter Granada Academy, the only thing you will be asked to organize are your flights. As well as a shuttle bus to and from your Granada accommodation directly from the airport, travel insurance for everyone is also included. Ross and Juande work hard together to ensure the best experience possible is planned for every team that gets involved with Inter Granada. Ross will be back and forth with your club personalizing the experience to best suit everyone and always make sure various activities are planned throughout your stay that directly interest the players. While you will always be provided accommodation, training, matches against local clubs and various day trips we will build your package to exactly how you want it. Like the look of one of the activities we offer and would prefer to do this over 2 days instead of 1? No problem! Want to visit Seville or another city for the day and view the stadiums? Say no more! While Ross has a ton of great days out activities to offer and suggest to you, you will build a close relationship with him and he’ll ensure whatever you have in mind while out there gets arranged. The Inter Granada team will be recording the full experience and you’ll have plenty of footage to send home.
Ross is completely fluent in Spanish and as he will be accompanying you throughout the whole experience so you can relax knowing you’ll have no language barrier issues as he will serve as your interpreter also. Granada is a phenomenal city, not only is it incredibly beautiful, it is also extremely inexpensive.
While this is something Ross pursues alongside his freestyle career, he’ll be with you the full time and should you wish to you’ll be sure to learn plenty of skills throughout your experience!

TRAINING
You’ll train in immaculate sports facilities with various elite UEFA Pro level coaches in your Spanish football experience. On top of all this, every player will:
-Receive their own Inter Granada training kit.
-Track their performances in detail via Footbar.
-Be supplied with water and fresh fruit at every session.
-Explore tactics with talks and match analysis from coaches that have worked with Spanish La Liga teams.
Players and coaches often notice a massive positive change in their team’s playing after exploring new training methods with the academy in Spain.
MATCHES
During your stay, your team will play against local Spanish teams suited to your team’s level.
Matches will be played at the opposing team’s ground.
Footbar tracking sensors will be used in all matches as well as training and analysed following games. Veo cameras will record all matches as well as livestream these for parents at home.

Inter Granada offers various accommodation options for your stay depending on availability when you will be arriving and preferences upon customising your package .
